Barclays Recruits Two Senior Executives for Securitization Products Business to Strengthen Position in Trillion-Dollar Market

Barclays is recruiting two senior executives for its securitization products business as the British bank seeks to expand its presence in the trillion-dollar market.

According to a statement, Shaishav Agarwal will join the bank as head of US commercial mortgage-backed securities (CMBS). Agarwal brings approximately 20 years of experience from Deutsche Bank, where he served as global head of commercial real estate capital markets. He will report to Martin Attea, global head of securitization products origination business.

Additionally, Guanqing Xiang will assume the role of co-head of collateralized mortgage obligations (CMO) and head of agency CMBS trading. According to his LinkedIn profile, Xiang previously served as managing director at Bank of Montreal. He will report to David Garner, global head of securitization products bond trading.
