CGN New Energy Reports 5.7% Decrease in March Power Generation

CGN New Energy (01811) announced that in March 2026, the company and its subsidiaries (the Group) generated a total of 1663.9 gigawatt-hours of electricity on a consolidated basis, representing a decrease of 5.7% compared to March 2025. By segment, power generation from Chinese wind projects decreased by 33.8%, while Chinese solar projects increased by 50.4%. Chinese hydropower projects saw a decrease of 16.0%, and projects in South Korea reported an increase of 41.4%.

For the three months ended March 31, 2026, the Group's cumulative power generation reached 4764.5 gigawatt-hours, a slight decrease of 0.1% compared to the same period in 2025. During this period, Chinese wind project generation decreased by 15.2%, while Chinese solar project generation increased by 37.4%. Chinese gas-fired projects recorded a significant increase of 1200.0%. Chinese hydropower projects decreased by 8.7%, and projects in South Korea increased by 20.7%.
