Executive Director and President Wang Lei Resigns from Guangdong Shunde Rural Commercial Bank Due to Work Transfer

On July 13th, Guangdong Shunde Rural Commercial Bank issued an announcement stating that Wang Lei has resigned from his positions as the bank's Executive Director and President due to a work transfer.

Public information shows that Wang Lei holds a doctoral degree and is a senior economist. His previous roles include serving as a member of the Party Committee and Deputy President of the Shanwei Central Sub-branch of the People's Bank of China, Deputy Director of the Survey and Statistics Department and the Monetary and Credit Management Department of the People's Bank of China Guangzhou Branch, Party Secretary and President of the People's Bank of China Zengcheng Sub-branch concurrently serving as Director of the State Administration of Foreign Exchange Zengcheng Sub-bureau, Director of the Second Business Department of the Business Management Department of the People's Bank of China Guangzhou Branch, Party Secretary and Director of the Financial Work Bureau of Foshan City, Guangdong Province, and Deputy Secretary-General of the Foshan Municipal Government and member of the Party Leadership Group of the municipal government office, among other positions. In April 2024, Wang Lei received approval to assume the role of President at Shunde Rural Commercial Bank.
