On October 17, Jiangsu Zhongtian Technology Co., Ltd. announced that its subsidiaries, Zhongtian Technology Submarine Cable Co., Ltd. and Zhongtian Ocean System Co., Ltd., have recently won or are expected to win multiple marine series projects, totaling approximately 1.788 billion yuan, which accounts for 3.72% of the company's audited revenue for 2024. In the marine energy sector, the company won the ±500kV DC submarine cable project (Section One) for a marine wind project in Zhejiang, responsible for the design, supply, and technical services of the ±500kV DC submarine cable; it is also the expected winner of the 500kV submarine cable supply and laying project (Section II) for the concentration and transmission engineering of the Yangjiang Sanshan Island Wind Farm 5 and 6; additionally, it won the 35kV seabed cable and supporting accessories for the Bohai Zhong 26-6 oilfield development (Phase II) project.
In the deep-sea technology domain, the company has won the research equipment project for deep-sea drilling rigs at Hunan University of Science and Technology, providing electric-driven marine winches and their umbilical cables; they also won a project in the South China Sea, responsible for expanding submarine cables and deep-sea injection molded connectors. Zhongtian Technology stated that its marine industry adheres to the strategic direction of "product focus on systemization and engineering facing globalization," continuously integrating capabilities across the entire industrial chain, including optical transmission, intelligent connections, deep-sea observation, and marine engineering.
Since 2025, the company has consecutively won several major projects, including the ±500kV DC submarine cable for Yangjiang Sanshan Island and the ±500kV AC submarine cable for Yangjiang Fanshi No. 2, demonstrating its systemic engineering capabilities in complex marine environments. The newly won ±500kV DC submarine cable will support Zhejiang Province’s first flexible DC offshore wind power project, marking a significant breakthrough in the ultra-high voltage flexible DC submarine cable technology field, which will effectively promote the large-scale and long-distance transmission of offshore wind power in China and provide core equipment support for the country's oceanic power construction.
