UNISOUND (09678) announced that its board has been informed by Dr. Huang Wei, the company's controlling shareholder, executive director, and CEO, that he purchased a total of 56,000 H-shares on the open market using personal funds between July 6 and July 16, 2026. The total value of these purchases was approximately HK$3.9793 million.

The board was also informed by Dr. Liu Shengping, an executive director, that he purchased a total of 15,140 H-shares on the open market using personal funds between July 7 and July 16, 2026. This second round of buying amounted to approximately HK$1.1259 million.

The purchases by Dr. Huang Wei and Dr. Liu Shengping are personal actions, demonstrating their strong confidence in the company's overall development prospects and potential growth. Dr. Huang Wei further informed the company that he plans to continue purchasing the company's H-shares on the open market using personal funds in the future, depending on market conditions and applicable laws and regulations.

Dr. Huang Wei confirmed that this plan will be implemented in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and regulatory requirements, including the Hong Kong Code on Takeovers and Mergers and Share Buy-backs. He ensured that the execution and completion of the plan would not trigger a mandatory general offer requirement under Rule 26 of the Code for himself or the concert party group consisting of Dr. Huang Wei, Dr. Liang Jiaen, and Dr. Kang Heng.
