China Telecom Corporation Limited released key operating statistics for the fourth quarter of 2025, detailing steady subscriber growth across its mobile and wireline businesses.
Mobile Services • Total mobile subscribers rose to 438.65 million, adding 1.46 million users during the quarter. • Within the mobile base, 5G network subscribers expanded by 9.40 million to 301.81 million, indicating that roughly 68.8% of the company’s mobile customers have migrated to 5G services. • Based on the reported net additions, China Telecom ended the third quarter with an estimated 437.19 million mobile users, of which 292.41 million were 5G subscribers.
Wireline Broadband • Wireline broadband customers increased by 0.63 million, finishing the year at 201.12 million. • The net additions imply a previous-quarter subscriber base of approximately 200.49 million.

The metrics were approved by the Board and announced by Chairman and Chief Executive Officer Ke Ruiwen on 24 March 2026 in Beijing.
