The Shanghai branch of China Merchants Bank Co.,Ltd. has been penalized with a warning and a fine of 731,000 yuan, according to an administrative penalty notice published by the People's Bank of China Shanghai Head Office.
The penalties were imposed for violations including breaches of financial statistical management regulations and the improper retention of fiscal deposits or funds.
