Hanking Gold Kicks Off Road and 258-Man Mine Camp Construction at Mt Bundy Project

Bulletin Express05-20

Hanking Gold International Limited (“Hanking Gold”) has commenced construction of the access road, a 258-man mine camp and related infrastructure at its Mt Bundy Gold Project in Australia’s Northern Territory after securing the requisite mining management plan approval and a deemed mining licence.

Located about 100 km south-east of Darwin, Mt Bundy currently hosts 3.47 million ounces of gold resources and 1.88 million ounces of gold reserves under the JORC (2012) Code, all within existing mining leases.

According to the updated definitive feasibility study, the operation is projected to average 150 thousand ounces of gold annually during the first 10 years of an initial 17-year mine life. First gold production is targeted for the first quarter of 2028, positioning Mt Bundy as the anticipated second-largest gold mine in the Northern Territory.

More than 400 jobs are expected to be created during the construction phase, delivering economic benefits to local contractors, suppliers and service providers through taxes, rates, rents and royalties.

Management highlighted that gold reserves at Mt Bundy have increased more than ten-fold since the initial investment in 2014 and the move to full ownership in 2018. The board views the commencement of on-site construction as a key milestone in advancing Hanking Gold toward mid-tier producer status and transforming Mt Bundy into a long-life, highly profitable operation.

Shareholders and potential investors are advised to exercise caution when dealing in Hanking Gold’s shares.
