According to the latest data from the Hong Kong Stock Exchange, on August 5, a notable change in shareholding occurred for STERLING GP (01825), with a total transfer value of approximately HK$7.32 million, representing 8.22% of the total shares. The company's shareholder transferred 2.166 million shares to Morgan Stanley Hong Kong Securities, while 1.32 million shares were moved out from KGI Asia.

STERLING GP has released its financial results for the year ending March 31, 2026, reporting revenue of approximately HK$328 million, a decline of 31.38% year-on-year. The net loss reached HK$62.279 million, widening by about 9.14 times compared to the previous year, with a loss per share of 173.64 HK cents. The announcement attributed the decrease in sales revenue primarily to a reduction of around HK$133 million in sales from the largest customer, representing a drop of approximately 31.6% from the prior year. The group's gross margin for the review year was about 17.1%, down from 18.3% in the same period last year, largely due to increased tariffs borne by the group on exports to the United States.
