A social media user discovered that two bottles of Oriental Leaf jasmine green tea, sharing the same production date, displayed noticeably different shades of color 鈥?one light and one dark. On August 10, the user reported that the tea bottles were produced in the same month, stored at room temperature, yet their tea colors differed significantly.

In response to the inquiry, a customer service representative from Nongfu Spring, the parent company, stated that this is a normal phenomenon. According to the official explanation, Oriental Leaf tea beverages are naturally extracted from tea leaves, with the tea color derived from natural components like tea polyphenols. Color changes due to external environmental factors are considered a normal natural occurrence, and the product remains safe for consumption within its shelf life.
