Democratic Senators Jeanne Shaheen, Chuck Schumer, and Elizabeth Warren have condemned the Trump administration's decision to extend a sanctions waiver on certain Russian oil imports.
The senators expressed their position in a joint statement.
"This decision is disgraceful and represents a complete reversal by Treasury Secretary Bessant, who just two days ago pledged not to extend the sanctions waiver for Russia," they stated.
