PSBC's Xiamen Branch Fined 1.82 Million Yuan for Multiple Regulatory Violations

On May 22nd, the Administrative Penalty Decision Information Disclosure Form from the People's Bank of China's Xiamen Branch showed that Postal Savings Bank Of China Co.,Ltd. (PSBC) Xiamen Branch was penalized for several violations. The infractions included breaching credit information management regulations, withholding fiscal deposits or funds, violating financial statistical management rules, failing to properly handle abnormal accounts and suspicious transactions as required, and not conducting customer due diligence in accordance with regulations. As a result, the branch received a warning and a public reprimand, along with a total fine of 1,822,711 yuan.
