OMNIVISION (00501) has announced that Mr. Jia Yuan has resigned from his positions as an executive director and deputy general manager of the company due to personal career plans. He will continue to perform his duties until a new executive director is elected. His resignation will become effective once the new executive director is elected. Following the effective date of Mr. Jia Yuan's resignation as an executive director, he will no longer serve as the company's authorized representative under Rule 3.05 of the Listing Rules. The company will issue a separate announcement regarding the appointment of a new authorized representative as soon as practicable. The company's board of directors has reviewed and approved the nomination of Dr. Gao Wenbao as a candidate for executive director. The election of Dr. Gao Wenbao as an executive director will be submitted to the company's general meeting of shareholders for their consideration and approval.
