Hong Kong Stock Alert | RUIHE DATA (03680) Surges Over 10% in Late Session, Set to Release Earnings Next Friday with Expected H1 Turnaround to Profitability

Stock News08-14

RUIHE DATA (03680) surged over 10% in late trading session. As of press time, the stock was up 10.95% to HK$2.33, with turnover reaching HK$10.912 million.

On the news front, RUIHE DATA plans to hold a board meeting on August 22 (next Friday) to consider and approve its interim results. The company previously issued a profit alert stating that for the six months ended June 30, 2025, based on a preliminary review of the company's unaudited consolidated management accounts, it expects to turn from a loss of 36.04 million yuan in the same period last year to achieving a net profit of 43 million to 44 million yuan.

According to the announcement, the company's main businesses during the period, including data solutions, software and hardware sales and comprehensive services, information technology maintenance and support services, and commodity trading business, all maintained stable operations.

Two key factors contributing to RUIHE DATA's net profit growth during the period were: fair value gains from the company's holding of 15 million shares in Tokyo Central Auction (01939); and significant improvement in profitability through cost reduction measures including optimization of research and development expenses, administrative expenses, financing costs, and sales expenses.
