Chinese ADRs rebounded in morning trading Thursday. Alibaba, JD.com and Baidu rose more than 1%; PDD Holdings and NIO rose 5%; XPeng and Li Auto rose 6%; Bilibili rose 4%.

Shares of Chinese electric vehicle makers fell sharply Wednesday on worries that auto demand in the fourth quarter will be weak amid intense competition and subdued consumption in the world’s second-largest economy.
