China's Domestic Gaming Market Revenue Hits RMB 31.36 Billion in October, Up 5.66% MoM

China's domestic gaming market revenue reached RMB 31.36 billion in October, marking a month-on-month increase of 5.66% and a year-on-year rise of 7.83%, according to a monthly industry report. Growth was driven by promotional campaigns and cross-platform game releases.

By segment, the client-side gaming market generated RMB 7.23 billion in revenue, up 1.92% MoM and 29.39% YoY, supported by an increase in cross-platform titles. Meanwhile, the mobile gaming market revenue rose to RMB 22.63 billion, growing 5.33% MoM and 2.36% YoY, as major titles leveraged anniversary events and updates to boost user engagement and spending.

Overseas, revenue from China’s self-developed games climbed to $1.8 billion, rising 10.96% MoM and 11.90% YoY, with contributions from established titles like *Arknights* and new releases.

Key highlights include *Honor of Kings* (by TENCENT) surpassing 139 million daily active users and *Genshin Impact* (by NTES-S) seeing a 40% MoM revenue surge. Cross-platform titles such as *Delta Force* and *Sixteen Sounds of Yan Yun* also contributed over RMB 1 billion in incremental revenue.

The market recovery reflects stable operations of mature products and innovative updates driving sustained growth.
