On Monday, the three major U.S. stock indices closed higher. The Hang Seng Index ADR also rose, with a proportional gain of 312.04 points or 1.22%, closing at 25,972.89 points compared to the previous Hong Kong market close. Most large-cap blue-chip stocks advanced. HSBC HOLDINGS ended at HKD 142.494, up 2.66% from its Hong Kong closing price, while TENCENT closed at HKD 498.135, marking a 1.66% increase from its Hong Kong session finish.
