ROBOTPHOENIX Shares Surge Over 20% on Strategic Partnership and Robot Deployment

Stock News07-07

Shares of ROBOTPHOENIX (ASX: 06871) have surged more than 20%. At the time of writing, the stock is up 19.04% to HK$22.88, with a turnover of HK$9.18 million.

Key Developments Driving the Rally

According to market reports, the company recently showcased its self-developed Hongjun 001 humanoid wheel-arm robot at the Chery Wuhu Ecotek Intelligent Manufacturing Technology Exchange Conference. This robot is equipped with the company's proprietary Yi Brain multimodal industrial large model. It can autonomously adapt to flexible mixed-line operations in workshops and complete the transformation of traditional, outdated production lines at a low cost. The robot has reportedly already passed technical verification for powertrain production lines at several leading automotive manufacturers.

Strategic Partnership Announcement

Concurrently, ROBOTPHOENIX has entered into a strategic cooperation with South Korea's MiR. Under this agreement, MiR will become the exclusive agent for the company's parallel and SCARA robots across South Korea. MiR will be fully responsible for local brand operations, sales, and comprehensive after-sales service and maintenance.

Product Positioning and Features

The Hongjun 001 wheel-arm humanoid robot launched by ROBOTPHOENIX is positioned as a supplement to, rather than a replacement for, traditional automation equipment. It is designed to precisely address the flexibility shortcomings in non-standard, complex operational scenarios. On the hardware level, it features a four-wheel, four-drive omni-directional wheel architecture, supporting 360-degree omnidirectional movement. With a passage width of only 62cm, it adapts to the dense equipment layouts in workshops, enabling rapid deployment and production without the need for factory modifications, thereby significantly reducing customer implementation costs.
