Tianjin Heping District Delegation Visits SINO-OCEAN GP to Discuss Urban Renewal and Commercial Upgrade Collaboration

On November 24, Zheng Weiming, Deputy Party Secretary and District Mayor of Heping District, Tianjin, visited the headquarters of SINO-OCEAN GP. The delegation engaged in in-depth discussions with Wang Honghui, Deputy Party Secretary and Executive President of SINO-OCEAN GP, and Ma Tianyi, Vice President, regarding potential cooperation in urban renewal and commercial upgrades. Representatives from the Heping District Finance Bureau, Investment Promotion Bureau, State-owned Assets Supervision and Administration Commission, and Heping Investment Group also attended the meeting.

During the talks, both parties conducted candid and pragmatic discussions on enhancing urban commercial capabilities and exploring sustainable pathways for urban renewal. Ma Tianyi provided a detailed overview of SINO-OCEAN GP’s business layout, core strengths, and representative projects in urban renewal, commercial operations, and asset revitalization. Drawing from past urban renewal initiatives, the group shared case studies on renovating aging properties, restructuring business formats, and integrating cultural elements. Additionally, SINO-OCEAN Capital elaborated on strategies to drive capital innovation and mobilize social resources to inject vitality into urban renewal projects under current economic conditions.

Wang Honghui expressed gratitude for Heping District’s long-standing trust and support. He emphasized SINO-OCEAN GP’s strong commitment to development opportunities in Tianjin, particularly in Heping District. The group aims to leverage its expertise in development and construction, asset and commercial management, and customer services to actively participate in the district’s commercial upgrades and urban renewal efforts, contributing to regional economic and social progress.

Zheng Weiming acknowledged SINO-OCEAN GP’s professional capabilities and pragmatic approach, welcoming the group’s deeper involvement in Heping District’s urban development. He proposed continued collaboration on high-level, sustainable models for urban renewal projects, such as revitalizing aging communities and reinvigorating traditional commercial spaces, to jointly foster new momentum for the district’s commercial prosperity and urban growth.

The meeting was also attended by Zhu Xiaoxing, General Manager of SINO-OCEAN Capital; Zhai Senlin, General Manager of SINO-OCEAN GP’s Investment Development Center; Zou Quan, Head of the President’s Office; and Tian Jingfeng, General Manager of SINO-OCEAN Zhixin, among other key personnel.
