Electric vehicle analyst Sawyer Merritt shared news that Tesla has officially deactivated the "Autopilot" driver-assistance system for new vehicles in the United States and Canada. The standard feature on all new cars is now "Traffic-Aware Cruise Control."
Elon Musk responded, stating, "I should also point out that the $99/month supervised FSD subscription will increase in price as FSD functionality improves."
"The massive value appreciation is that you can be on your phone or asleep for the entire journey (unsupervised FSD mode)."
