DATANG RENEW Reports 10.79% Year-on-Year Decline in Cumulative Power Generation for First Half

DATANG RENEW (HKEX: 01798) has released an operational update detailing its power generation figures for the first six months of the year.

For the month of June 2026, the group, on a consolidated basis, achieved power generation of 2.0348 million megawatt-hours. This represents a decrease of 16.86% compared to the same period in 2025.

Breaking down the June figures, wind power generation amounted to 1.5444 million MWh, marking an 18.93% year-on-year decline. Power generation from photovoltaic sources reached 490,400 MWh, down 9.58% from June 2025.

For the cumulative period from the start of the year to June 30, 2026, the group's total power generation reached 16.5958 million MWh. This reflects a 10.79% decrease compared to the first half of 2025.

Within this cumulative total, wind power contributed 14.0283 million MWh, showing a 13.51% year-on-year drop. In contrast, photovoltaic power generation saw an increase, totaling 2.5674 million MWh, which is 7.74% higher than the corresponding period last year.
