On April 23, during its company anniversary celebration, KE Holdings Inc. launched the "Healthy Home Guardian Card" and detailed the implementation rules for the 4 billion yuan "Healthy Home Guardian Fund" donated by its two co-founders earlier this year. Applications for the fund's coverage are now open, with benefits retroactive to February 24, the project's announcement date. The company has issued personalized Guardian Cards to over 500,000 employees of KE Holdings, Lianjia, and other industry service providers. On the same day, two service providers successfully claimed 20,000 yuan each for critical illness support. One recipient, from Beijing, was diagnosed with non-Hodgkin lymphoma in March and is currently hospitalized. The other, a Lianjia service provider in Chengdu, also qualified for additional support under the "Family Warmth Assistance Fund" and "Children's Education Fund," with the remaining 180,000 yuan of the allocated funds under review and expected to be disbursed within ten business days. The "Healthy Home Guardian Fund" was established by KE Holdings' co-founders, Chairman and CEO Peng Yongdong and co-founder Shan Yigang. On April 17, 2025, and February 24, 2026, the co-founders announced the donation of 19 million shares to support housing industry workers and their families with medical care and children's education, assist recent graduates, and establish this initiative. The newly introduced Guardian Card serves as an exclusive digital credential for accessing these benefits. Employees of KE Holdings, Lianjia, and platform service providers can obtain the card through channels such as corporate WeChat. Many have already shared images of the card on their social media feeds. Peng Yongdong emphasized in the company's 25th-anniversary letter that the platform's core mission is to deliver superior, trustworthy service and value to customers, with employees and service providers being crucial to creating value in residential services. He expressed the hope that this support would enable workers to better protect their own families while serving countless others, providing greater security and peace of mind in their professional journeys. The "Healthy Home Guardian Fund" project, now with detailed implementation rules, benefits over 500,000 industry service providers, including eligible brand owners, store operators, agents, cleaners, and maintenance personnel.
