Energy IntInv projects FY2026 net profit to shrink to HK$68-78 million after property revaluation loss

Bulletin Express06-22

Energy International Investments Holdings Limited (Energy IntInv) has issued a profit warning, indicating that FY2026 net profit is expected to fall to between HK$68.00 million and HK$78.00 million, down roughly 84%–85% from the HK$467.00 million recorded in FY2025. Profit attributable to owners is projected at HK$62.00 million–HK$70.00 million versus HK$256.00 million a year earlier, implying a decline of about 73%–76%.

Revenue momentum remains positive. Management anticipates an increase of about HK$248.00 million in revenue and HK$165.00 million in gross profit, mainly reflecting the November 2025 consolidation of Prosperous Splendor Global Limited and its subsidiaries under a concert party agreement.

Key profit drags for FY2026 include: • Investment properties swung to a fair-value loss of around HK$62.00 million, compared with a HK$541.00 million gain in FY2025. • Impairment losses under the expected-credit-loss model on receivables and financial guarantee liabilities rose approximately HK$109.00 million. • Deferred tax expenses declined by about HK$157.00 million, partly offsetting the adverse valuation impact.

Operationally, the Group raised its stake in core subsidiary Shandong Shundong Port Services Company Limited to 85% following the 29.83% equity acquisition completed in April 2025.

Audited FY2026 results are scheduled for release by end-June 2026. Shareholders and investors are advised to exercise caution when trading the company’s shares pending final figures.
