Retail giant Target has stabilized its online operations after a technical glitch disrupted key digital services during the critical holiday shopping season. The outage affected functionalities such as order pickup, returns, and other features.
"As of this morning, our order pickup, buy online pickup in-store, returns/order history lookup, and replenishment services have all been restored to stable operation," said Adrienne Costanzo, Chief Stores Officer at Target, in a Saturday memo.
The disruption lasted several hours on Friday, with numerous customers reporting on social media their inability to place online orders or access purchase records. Costanzo attributed the issue to a "third-party system error" but did not provide further details.
