The newly constructed oil tanker "Ocean Gemini" is a large-scale vessel independently designed and built by Shanghai Waigaoqiao Shipbuilding Co., Ltd. Through technological innovations in areas like hydrodynamics, the ship meets the EEDI Phase III requirements, fully demonstrating its advantages in energy efficiency, safety, and economic performance.
Officers from the Waigaoqiao Immigration Checkpoint handled the exit border inspection formalities for the new vessel. To ensure the smooth commencement of its maiden voyage, the Waigaoqiao Immigration Checkpoint made advance arrangements, creating a "tailor-made" service checklist and establishing a dedicated task force. They implemented refined inspection measures under a "one ship, one policy" approach for procedures such as the application for delivery documents and hull inspections for the new ship.
