Domestic refined oil prices will undergo a new round of adjustment at 24:00 tomorrow (October 29), and a significant rebound is expected, with a full tank of fuel potentially costing around 20 yuan more.
The current 10-working-day statistical cycle for this round of oil price adjustment is nearing its end, with the crude oil change rate at 6.64%, and oil prices are expected to rise by 370 yuan per ton. Based on this estimate, gasoline and diesel prices will surge by 0.29 yuan to 0.33 yuan per liter tomorrow evening, and filling a full tank will cost about 20 yuan more.
Looking at current national average fuel prices: No. 92 gasoline is 8.59 yuan per liter, No. 95 gasoline is 9.17 yuan per liter, and No. 0 diesel is 8.27 yuan per liter. Compared with this year's peak in April, when No. 92 was 8.89 yuan per liter, No. 95 was 9.49 yuan per liter, and No. 0 diesel was 8.57 yuan per liter, the price gap is now only about 0.3 yuan per liter. If this round's increase lands at the current magnitude, domestic oil prices will hit a new high for the year.
From the perspective of the full-year price adjustment pattern, domestic refined oil has completed 20 rounds of adjustments so far this year, with more increases than decreases overall. If this round takes effect as expected, it will be another upward adjustment within the year. Drivers who need to refuel can do so before 24:00 on October 29.
A friendly reminder: the current figures are only cyclical forecast data, and the final adjustment result is subject to the notice from the National Development and Reform Commission on October 29.
According to Xinhua News Agency, international oil prices fell on October 27. As of that day's close, the December-delivery light crude oil futures price on the New York Mercantile Exchange dropped by 1.86 dollars to 99.90 dollars per barrel, a decline of 1.83%; the December-delivery London Brent crude oil futures price fell by 1.93 dollars to 113.88 dollars per barrel, a decline of 1.67%.
According to China Securities Journal, industry insiders believe that both the precious metals and crude oil markets are currently at a critical stage of multiple variables competing. On the crude oil side, COFCO Futures stated that crude oil futures prices are currently in a high-level, mixed long-short environment, and the market may show a pattern of rising then falling back in the future. Conditions for a sustained one-sided upward attack are not sufficient, and bearish pressure is gradually strengthening.
