SINOPEC CORP (00386) announced that Mr. Chen Yanbin has been appointed as a Senior Vice President of the company. Due to work adjustments, Mr. Huang Wensheng has resigned from his position as Company Secretary but will continue to serve as a Vice President. Mr. Zhang Zheng has been appointed as the new Company Secretary. Additionally, Mr. Chen Yang has been appointed as the company's Securities Affairs Representative for the Shanghai Stock Exchange. The appointments of Mr. Chen Yanbin and Mr. Zhang Zheng are effective from the date of board approval until the conclusion of the ninth board of directors' term.
