Local Leader Inspects Nongfu Spring Project and High-Standard Farmland Construction

Deep News06-17

On June 16, the County Party Secretary, Zhen Peng, conducted a field inspection of the Nongfu Spring project and the progress of high-standard farmland construction in Mengku Town. The visit aimed to verify on-site project conditions, reinforce responsibilities, precisely address key challenges, and fully promote the quality, speed, detailed implementation, and early effectiveness of the key projects.

Zhen Peng and his delegation visited the Mengku Large-Leaf Tea Processing Park (Qianhongshan area) constructed by China Railway 17th Bureau Group, as well as various project sites in Chengzi Village, Mangna Village, and Hudong Village within Mengku Town. They meticulously checked construction techniques, material quality, compliance with standards, and project timelines against the original plans and contract specifications, conducting a comprehensive review to identify weaknesses and deficiencies. On-site briefings were received from construction companies and project managers, providing detailed insights into construction processes, schedule plans, resource allocation, and quality control measures. Each bottleneck and difficulty in project advancement was systematically analyzed to gain an accurate understanding of the actual construction status.

Zhen Peng emphasized that for the Nongfu Spring (HKG: 09633) project, it is essential to optimize the full-process construction plan, refine the coordination between work stages, set reverse schedules for key milestones, and dynamically manage the allocation of manpower, materials, and machinery. This approach aims to minimize idle time between processes, reduce waiting periods, and ensure the project is completed and delivered on schedule, thereby contributing to the quality enhancement of the local tea industry. For the high-standard farmland construction, the core principles of adhering to the schedule, maintaining standards, and ensuring superior quality must be upheld. All construction units must strictly fulfill their contractual obligations, reinforce their primary responsibility, seize favorable construction windows, proactively tackle difficulties, and accelerate project progress to guarantee completion according to the established timeline. Furthermore, strict compliance with the relevant technical specifications for high-standard farmland is required, with detailed quality control measures implemented throughout the process. Regular self-inspections and corrections must be conducted diligently to comprehensively identify and rectify any potential quality issues, strictly prohibiting corner-cutting and sloppy construction practices to ensure the project withstands scrutiny.

Zhen Peng demanded that relevant regulatory authorities earnestly perform their supervisory duties, improve the system for full-process and regular oversight, and consistently conduct inspections and guidance at the project front lines. A problem-oriented approach should be adopted, managing issues through lists, records, and closed-loop processes, ensuring immediate rectification upon discovery. Supervision and accountability must be strengthened; construction companies that lag in project progress, fail to implement rectifications effectively, or neglect their duties will face serious accountability and strict disciplinary action in accordance with regulations. It is crucial to balance construction speed with engineering quality, and work efficiency with compliance standards. While strictly upholding the bottom line of quality and safety, efforts should be made to sprint towards completing construction tasks, ensuring that both the high-standard farmland construction and the Nongfu Spring (HKG: 09633) project advance with high quality and are completed to high standards.

Participants in the inspection included Luo Yunsheng, Yang Guangming, and Zheng Yunbing.
