Bulletin Express04-16 20:23

Scholar Education Group disclosed that the trustee of its share award scheme bought 245,000 shares on 16 April 2026. The purchase represents approximately 0.036 % of the company’s issued share capital.

The average consideration was HK$1.62 per share, translating into a total outlay of roughly HK$0.40 million, excluding transaction costs.

Following the transaction, the trustee holds 8.42 million shares, equal to about 1.25 % of Scholar Education’s outstanding stock, earmarked for future awards to selected participants under the scheme.

The board reiterated that the prevailing market price significantly undervalues the company’s intrinsic worth and signalled that further purchases may be instructed as market conditions permit.
