CALC has announced its interim results for the six months ended June 30, 2026, reporting a resilient financial performance driven by prudent operations and a commitment to quality enhancement despite the evolving market conditions in the aviation industry. The group's total revenue for the first half of 2026 reached HK$3.9056 billion, representing a substantial year-on-year increase of 57.9%. Profit attributable to shareholders of the company amounted to HK$171.4 million, up 22.0% from the corresponding period last year, with basic earnings per share of HK$0.229. The board has resolved to declare an interim dividend of HK$0.14 per share.
During the review period, the group continued to adhere to a cautious fleet management strategy, leveraging its high-quality order book, global aircraft trading network, and full-lifecycle aircraft management capabilities to continuously optimize its fleet portfolio. In terms of aircraft procurement, CALC persisted in investing in new-generation fuel-efficient aircraft models, actively participated in the commercial development of domestically produced aircraft, and capitalized on the sustained positive trend in the second-hand aircraft market by strategically allocating quality mid-to-older aged aircraft assets to seize opportunities arising from market cycles and changes in asset values.
To further consolidate its order advantage, the group placed an additional order for 30 Airbus A320neo series aircraft in December 2025. As of June 30, 2026, the group's outstanding order book stood at 123 aircraft, comprising 98 Airbus A320neo series and 25 COMAC C909 aircraft. This robust and high-quality order pipeline effectively underpins the group's future development prospects.
Leveraging its professional expertise in aircraft asset investment and operational management, the group successfully acquired 16 second-hand aircraft from investment platforms during the review period, further enriching its inventory of mid-to-older aged aircraft assets. Concurrently, CALC completed the sale of nine owned aircraft, while continuing to provide management services for six of these sold aircraft as well as two aircraft sold earlier, earning industry recognition for its asset management capabilities. Through this "sale plus management" model, the group generated both disposal and management income while continuously optimizing its fleet composition.
During the review period, the group delivered seven new aircraft to airline customers from its order book, all of which were new-generation fuel-efficient Airbus A320neo series models, consistently supporting airlines in modernizing their fleets and expanding capacity. As of June 30, 2026, the group's fleet comprised 179 aircraft, including 163 owned aircraft and 16 managed aircraft, maintaining a modern fleet portfolio dominated by new-generation fuel-efficient models.
By aircraft count as of June 30, 2026, single-aisle aircraft accounted for 91.4% of the owned fleet, which feature high liquidity and broad market appeal, with asset values steadily appreciating. With the exception of six mid-to-older aged aircraft pending sale or dismantling, all other aircraft in the owned fleet were under lease. The average age of the group's owned fleet stood at 9.0 years as of June 30, 2026, with an average remaining lease term of 6.5 years.
