TCL ELECTRONICS (01070) experienced a significant rise of over 10% after the release of its annual financial results. At the time of reporting, the stock was up 10.44%, trading at HK$12.17, with a turnover of HK$120 million. The company reported its 2025 performance, achieving revenue of HK$114.583 billion, a year-on-year increase of 15.4%. Gross profit reached HK$17.900 billion, up 15.1% compared to the previous year. Net profit attributable to owners of the parent company amounted to HK$2.495 billion, marking a growth of 41.8%. On an adjusted basis, net profit attributable to owners of the parent company was HK$2.512 billion, reflecting a substantial increase of 56.5%. Furthermore, the board proposed a final dividend for 2025 of HK$0.498 per share in cash, representing a payout ratio of approximately 50% of the adjusted net profit attributable to owners of the parent company. The company's display business reported an overall revenue growth of 9.2% to HK$75.80 billion for 2025. Within this segment, large-size display business generated revenue of HK$64.71 billion, an increase of 7.7% year-on-year. Additionally, the internet business achieved simultaneous growth in scale and profitability, with revenue rising 18.3% to HK$3.11 billion. Gross profit for the internet segment increased by 18.8% to HK$1.75 billion, with a high gross margin of 56.4%, indicating sustained strong profitability. Revenue from the photovoltaic business grew significantly by 63.6% to HK$21.06 billion.
