On August 5, the "Agricultural Product Wholesale Price 200 Index" stood at 113.49, rising 0.07 points from the previous day, while the "Vegetable Basket" product wholesale price index reached 113.63, up 0.09 points from yesterday, according to monitoring data.
As of 14:00 today, the national average wholesale price of pork was 15.74 yuan per kilogram, declining 0.2% compared to yesterday. Beef remained steady at 67.41 yuan per kilogram, unchanged from the prior day. Mutton was priced at 64.39 yuan per kilogram, falling 0.5% from yesterday. Eggs increased 0.2% to 9.86 yuan per kilogram, while white-feathered chicken rose 0.9% to 17.34 yuan per kilogram.
The average price of 28 key monitored vegetables was 4.40 yuan per kilogram, down 0.7% from yesterday. The average price of six key monitored fruits was 6.94 yuan per kilogram, up 0.6% from the previous day.
Among aquatic products, crucian carp fell 1.0% to 20.22 yuan per kilogram, carp dropped 0.5% to 14.52 yuan per kilogram, silver carp increased 2.3% to 10.23 yuan per kilogram, and large ribbonfish plunged 5.2% to 41.58 yuan per kilogram.
Among the 46 key monitored fresh agricultural products in domestic wholesale markets, the top five price gainers compared to yesterday were Kyoho grapes (up 2.4%), silver carp (up 2.3%), spinach (up 1.9%), bighead carp (up 1.5%), and cucumber (up 1.3%). The top five price decliners were large ribbonfish (down 5.2%), winter melon (down 2.7%), celery (down 2.3%), green pepper (down 2.2%), and scallion (down 1.9%).
