The National Development and Reform Commission has decided to adjust refined oil product prices effective from 24:00 on April 21, 2026, based on recent changes in international market oil prices. According to national regulations, the maximum retail price of 89-octane gasoline in Tianjin has been reduced by 555 yuan per ton, from 11,055 yuan to 10,500 yuan. The price of 0-grade diesel has been lowered by 530 yuan per ton, from 9,965 yuan to 9,435 yuan. Maximum retail prices for other grades of gasoline and diesel have also been adjusted accordingly.

The adjusted maximum retail prices per liter in Tianjin are as follows: 89-octane gasoline at 7.84 yuan, down 0.41 yuan; 92-octane gasoline at 8.45 yuan, down 0.45 yuan; 95-octane gasoline at 8.93 yuan, down 0.47 yuan; and 0-grade diesel at 8.15 yuan, down 0.46 yuan. Retail fuel enterprises may set specific retail prices without exceeding these maximum limits.

This price adjustment marks the eighth pricing window of the year and the first reduction in 2026. Following the confirmed price cut, filling a 50-liter tank will now cost approximately 22 yuan less for private car owners. For a typical fuel vehicle traveling 2,000 kilometers per month with an average fuel consumption of 8 liters per 100 kilometers, fuel costs will decrease by about 40 yuan per vehicle before the next pricing window opens at 24:00 on May 8, 2026.

In the logistics sector, for a heavy-duty truck covering 10,000 kilometers monthly with a fuel consumption of 38 liters per 100 kilometers, the reduction will lower fuel expenses by roughly 969 yuan per vehicle before the next adjustment. The subsequent pricing window is scheduled for 24:00 on May 8, 2026.
