Iran's Supreme Leader Mujtaba issued a statement on social media on the evening of the 23rd, pointing out that the enemy has launched a media campaign in an attempt to manipulate the thoughts of the Iranian people and undermine Iran's unity and security. He warned that this sinister plot must not be allowed to succeed due to negligence on their part.
Mujtaba's social media account stated that the remarkable unity currently displayed among the Iranian people has already caused divisions within the enemy's camp.
Iranian President Pezeshkian and Speaker of the Islamic Consultative Assembly Qalibaf jointly issued a statement on social media that same evening, refuting U.S. claims of "internal divisions in Iran."
The statement declared that in Iran, there are no "hardliners" or "moderates"—"we are all Iranians, all revolutionaries." It emphasized that with the nation and people's "iron-clad unity" and loyalty to Iran's Supreme Leader, Iran will make aggressors pay a price.
On the same day, Iran's Foreign Minister Araghchi also posted on social media, stressing that the Iranian people are more united than ever before.
Earlier that day, former U.S. President Trump had claimed on social media that "hardliners" and "moderates" in Iran were engaged in "internal fighting." On the 21st, he stated that the Iranian government was "seriously divided internally" and announced that, at Pakistan's request, he would extend the ceasefire until Iran presented a unified proposal.
