PRADA Shares Surge Over 13% After Mid-Year Revenue Exceeds 3 Billion Euros

PRADA (01913) shares jumped more than 13% in post-earnings trading, with the stock last up 11.61% at HK$42.30, on a trading volume of HK$74.33 million.

The luxury fashion house reported its first-half results, posting a net revenue of 3.048 billion euros, representing a 16% year-on-year increase at constant exchange rates and 5% organic growth. Net profit for the period stood at 327 million euros, a decline of 15.3% from the previous year. The adjusted EBIT margin was 17.4%, corresponding to 530 million euros.

Sales from the PRADA brand reached 1.62 billion euros, exceeding market estimates of 1.59 billion euros. Meanwhile, MIU MIU brand net sales came in at 763.3 million euros, slightly above the forecast of 761.6 million euros.
