Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Holds Working Meeting with Sinopec

On February 3, Liao Lin, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of Industrial and Commercial Bank of China (ICBC), met with Hou Qijun, Secretary of the Party Committee and Chairman of China Petroleum & Chemical Corporation (Sinopec), in Beijing. The two sides held a working meeting to discuss further deepening their comprehensive strategic cooperation. Also present at the meeting were Cai Yong, a member of the Sinopec Party Leadership Group and Chief Financial Officer, and Zhang Shouchuan, a member of the ICBC Party Committee and Deputy President.

ICBC and Sinopec are strategic partners, maintaining close cooperation in areas such as safeguarding national energy security and achieving practical results. ICBC will thoroughly implement the spirit of the Fourth Plenary Session of the 20th Central Committee and the Central Economic Work Conference, deepen strategic alignment with Sinopec during the "16th Five-Year Plan" period, and further expand all-round cooperation in major project construction, green and low-carbon transformation, digital upgrades, and cross-border business. The bank aims to provide comprehensive financial solutions to support Sinopec's high-quality development, thereby contributing more significantly to safeguarding national energy security and advancing the construction of a modern industrial system.
