On March 26, customs officers at Hengqin Port intercepted a cross-border driver attempting to smuggle 60 kilograms of silver granules into mainland China using a vehicle with Guangdong-Macao license plates. At around 10:00 a.m., during routine inspection of inbound passenger and cargo vehicles, customs officials noticed unusual imaging results during a scan of the car. A detailed search revealed 60 packages of silver granules concealed beneath the vehicle's central console, totaling 60 kilograms in weight.
