J&T Express: Indonesia Market Boasts Over 17,000 Logistics Networks and 10,000 Service Outlets Nationwide

Deep News01-26

On the morning of January 26, the "Forum on New Opportunities for Apparel Going Global" and the "Indonesia Logistics Industry Inspection Tour," hosted by the Apparel Logistics Branch of the China Federation of Logistics & Purchasing and supported by J&T Express, were successfully held in Indonesia. A delegation comprising logistics and supply chain leaders from over twenty domestic apparel and home textile companies, including Bosideng, Xtep, Mercury Home Textile, Langsha, and Cosmo Lady, conducted in-depth research in Jakarta and Surabaya into the localized logistics service system built by J&T Express in Indonesia.

A relevant executive from J&T Express stated that since entering the Indonesian market in 2015, the company has established a logistics network covering more than 17,000 islands across the country, boasting over 10,000 service outlets, 5,800 line-haul vehicles, and 64 automated sorting centers. It is reported that the company's sorting center in Jakarta currently possesses an automated sorting capacity exceeding one million parcels per day, which can surge to 2.5 million parcels during peak periods.

Furthermore, leveraging its deeply established cloud warehouse network in Indonesia, with Jakarta and Surabaya as core hubs, J&T Express integrates the entire supply chain from first-leg transport and customs clearance to warehousing management and last-mile delivery. This enables stable delivery timelines, such as "next-day delivery" within Jakarta city and 2-3 day delivery to core areas of Java Island, significantly enhancing the predictability of cross-border order fulfillment.
