Morgan Stanley's Chief Economist, Xing Ziqiang, has highlighted significant international interest in Chinese investment opportunities.
He made these remarks while speaking at the "2026 Sina Global Capital Summit," a major financial conference held in Hong Kong.
Xing Ziqiang noted that he recently completed a ten-day tour of Europe, where he engaged with numerous large sovereign wealth funds and pension managers.
These discussions revealed that foreign capital possesses a substantial and growing interest in allocating funds to Chinese assets.
The summit, centered on the theme "Based in Hong Kong, Eyeing the World," brought together global leaders from politics, business, and academia to debate trends in international capital markets and cross-border investment strategies.
