Global semiconductor giant NVIDIA (NVDA.US) is partnering with the well-known venture capital firm SV Angel to plan a significant investment in the artificial intelligence startup Humans&. According to informed sources, this funding round has enabled the recently established AI company to complete a $480 million seed round, with its valuation skyrocketing to $4.48 billion.

Humans& was co-founded by a group of senior researchers who previously held core positions at Elon Musk's xAI, Anthropic, Google, and OpenAI, including the renowned researcher Eric Zelikman and early Google member Georges Harik. The team's "all-star" background is considered the core asset that attracted this capital favor.

This funding round was led by venture capital firm SV Angel, which was founded by famous serial entrepreneur Ron Conway. Humans& co-founder Georges Harik also participated in this round. Furthermore, other investors in this round include Jeff Bezos, NVIDIA, and GV (formerly Google Ventures).

The San Francisco-based startup also stated that it will collaborate with NVIDIA on both hardware and software. For NVIDIA, whose market capitalization firmly resides in the global top tier, this move into Humans& represents a continuation of its strategic investment portfolio.

By supporting high-potential downstream model developers, NVIDIA can not only strengthen its hardware and software ecosystem but also secure future high-performance computing clients in an environment of persistently high demand for AI infrastructure.

It is understood that Humans& was founded last year by Georges Harik, xAI researcher Eric Zelikman, Yuchen He, Anthropic researcher Andi Peng, and former Google DeepMind research scientist Noah D. Goodman. The core focus of Humans&'s business is on developing a new generation of "collaborative" AI models, aiming to achieve deep empowerment of AI for human workers by enhancing artificial intelligence's empathy and interactive collaboration capabilities.

As early as the fourth quarter of 2025, market rumors emerged that the company was seeking funding of approximately $1 billion, with an expected valuation already locked in the range of $4 to $5 billion.
