Oracle has launched a new suite of artificial intelligence-driven applications designed to help businesses automate complex processes in areas such as finance, supply chain, human resources, and customer management.
The software, called Fusion Agentic Applications, works in conjunction with Oracle's Fusion Cloud platform. It utilizes collaborative AI agents that can evaluate, make decisions, and execute tasks with minimal human intervention. The goal is to go beyond simple automation by building systems capable of independently managing workflows and adapting to new situations.
Oracle executives noted that many corporate teams still spend excessive time on manual tasks and system handoffs. By embedding AI agents directly into business applications, Oracle aims to accelerate critical operations, reduce costs, and enhance efficiency.
In response to emerging threats from AI and future technologies such as quantum computing, Oracle has added additional layers of database security, including "Platinum" and "Diamond" tiers. The company has also expanded its financial crime solutions using technology from Lucinity.
These updates are part of Oracle's broader effort to become a full-stack AI provider by integrating cloud infrastructure, databases, and enterprise applications.
Investors will be closely watching whether these new AI capabilities help Oracle's cloud platform achieve wider adoption and deliver steady revenue growth.
