BJ ENT URBAN Subsidiary Wins Five HK Cleaning Contracts Valued at HK$965 Million

BJ ENT URBAN (03718) announced that its 85%-owned subsidiary, Cheng Mei Services (Hong Kong) Limited, has been awarded five cleaning and support service contracts following a competitive tender process conducted by the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department. The contracts cover recreational venues in the Islands, Tsuen Wan, Tuen Mun, Yuen Long, and Kwai Tsing districts. The total estimated value of the contracts is approximately HK$965 million.

The group is primarily engaged in providing environmental hygiene services, hazardous waste treatment, and waste electrical and electronic equipment processing services. Cheng Mei Services (Hong Kong), a company incorporated in Hong Kong, specializes in environmental hygiene services. Under the terms of the tender, the subsidiary will provide services including but not limited to cleaning, pest control, waste collection, recyclables collection, and other support services for designated recreational venues, parks, and playgrounds managed by the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department.

All five contracts are expected to commence on May 1, 2026, and will have a duration of three years. The board clarified that while the group has received a letter of acceptance from the Hong Kong Leisure and Cultural Services Department, no formal contracts have been signed yet. The actual contract value and total revenue may differ from this announcement due to unforeseen changes in market conditions or other factors.
