CSSC Shipping announced a leadership transition effective 24 August 2026. Li Hongtao has stepped down as Chief Executive Officer to focus on other business commitments but will continue to serve as Chairman of the Board, executive director, and chair of the company’s nomination, strategic & investment, and ESG & sustainable development committees. The Board expressed appreciation for Li’s contributions during his CEO tenure.
Executive director Liu Hui has been appointed Chief Executive Officer, with no additional remuneration linked to the new role. According to the company, Liu Hui: • Has no current or recent directorships in other listed companies over the past three years. • Holds no additional positions within CSSC Shipping’s group entities beyond his existing directorship. • Has no relationships with directors, senior management, or substantial or controlling shareholders. • Holds no interests in CSSC Shipping shares under Hong Kong’s Securities and Futures Ordinance.
The Board stated there are no other matters requiring disclosure under Listing Rules 13.51(2)(h)–13.51(2)(v). As of the announcement date, the Board comprises two executive directors (Li Hongtao, Liu Hui), two non-executive directors (Xie Weizhong, Chi Benbin), and three independent non-executive directors (Wang Dennis; Shing Mo Han Yvonne, BBS, JP; and Li Hongji).
