A new equity freeze has been imposed on actress Zhao Wei, targeting her stake in Wuhu Dongrunfa Investment Co., Ltd. According to Tianyancha risk information, the frozen equity amounts to 9 million RMB. The freeze is effective from March 9, 2026, to March 8, 2029, and was ordered by the Dongcheng District People's Court in Beijing.
Wuhu Dongrunfa Investment Co., Ltd. was established in June 2010, with Zhao Jian serving as its legal representative. The company has a registered capital of 10 million RMB and is engaged in corporate investment, business management and consulting, and commercial advisory services. Shareholding information indicates that Zhao Wei holds a 90% stake in the company, while Zhao Jian holds the remaining 10%.
This is not the first time Zhao Wei has faced equity freezes. Previous reports indicate that her shares in Tibet Longwei Culture Media Co., Ltd., Hebao Entertainment Group Co., Ltd., and Wuhu Dongrunfa Investment Co., Ltd. have also been frozen. The frozen amounts were 1.9 million RMB, 5 million RMB, and 9 million RMB, respectively, each with a freeze duration of three years, all enforced by the Dongcheng District People's Court in Beijing.
Zhao Wei holds a 95% stake in Tibet Longwei Culture Media Co., Ltd., a 90% stake in Wuhu Dongrunfa Investment Co., Ltd., and approximately a 4.5% stake in Hebao Entertainment Group Co., Ltd.
Zhao Wei, born on March 12, 1976, in Wuhu, Anhui Province, is a Chinese actress, singer, director, and producer. She graduated from the Performance Department of Beijing Film Academy and holds a master's degree from its Directing Department.
