China Telecom: March 2026 Monthly Return Shows Stable Share Base, Public Float Compliance

China Telecom Corporation Limited released its Monthly Return for Equity Issuer for the period ended 31 March 2026, confirming that both authorised and issued share capital remained unchanged during the month.

Total authorised share capital stayed at RMB 91.51 billion, split between 77.63 billion A-shares (not listed in Hong Kong) and 13.88 billion H-shares listed on the Hong Kong Stock Exchange. Each share carries a par value of RMB 1.

Issued share capital was also steady: • H-shares (HKEX stock code 00728): 13.88 billion shares in issue, with zero treasury shares. • A-shares (SSE stock code 601728): 77.63 billion shares in issue, with zero treasury shares.

Throughout March 2026, the company reported: • No share issuances, cancellations, or buy-backs. • No outstanding share options, warrants, convertibles, or other equity-linked instruments.

China Telecom affirmed that the H-share public float comfortably met the Main Board’s minimum threshold of 5 per cent of the class’s issued shares. The filing was submitted on 1 April 2026 by Company Secretary Wong Yuk Har.
