Uranium exploration firm Generation Uranium Inc. has announced it has submitted an application to list its shares on the Canadian Securities Exchange and plans a voluntary delisting from the TSX Venture Exchange.
The company currently trades under the symbol "GEN" on the TSX Venture, is quoted on the OTCQB, and is also listed on the Frankfurt Stock Exchange. This application to change listing venues is part of a strategic review to seek a public market platform better suited to its current stage of development. Upon the completion of the transfer, the company expects its shares to continue trading under the same symbol on the CSE.
Generation Uranium's core asset is the 100%-owned Yath Uranium Project located in the Angilak Basin of Nunavut. This region is an emerging uranium exploration hotspot in Canada. The company has identified 17 uranium target areas within the project area, with historical exploration data recording surface samples assaying up to 9.8% U₃O₈.
The company is currently advancing its summer field program at the Yath Project, integrating new geophysical data, and awaiting drill permit approvals. Newly appointed Chief Executive Officer Michael Collins stated that the team is focused on planning the 2026 exploration program to fully realize the project's value. Additionally, the company recently completed the first tranche of a non-brokered private placement, with proceeds earmarked for project advancement and general working capital.
The listing application remains subject to final approval from the relevant exchanges and regulatory authorities. The company will continue to provide updates on the approval process as it progresses.
