HAIXI PHARMA (02637) rose more than 5% intraday. As of press time, the stock was up 4.29% at HK$160.5, with a turnover of HK$10.7353 million.

On the news front, HAIXI PHARMA announced in September that HX9428 for the treatment of neovascular age-related macular degeneration (nAMD) has completed the 24-week treatment data observation in its China Phase I clinical study; the China Phase II dose expansion study is still ongoing and has yielded interim clinical data.

Huafu Securities noted that with the readout of domestic Phase 2b head-to-head data against aflibercept, combined with the U.S. Phase 2a optimal dose exploration validating preliminary efficacy and safety in European and American populations, HX9428 is expected to enter BD negotiation partnerships, marking the optimal window to accelerate global Phase 3 development through partners.
