Italy Faces Aviation Fuel Shortages at Multiple Airports

Several airports in Italy have issued warnings of potential aviation fuel supply shortages in the coming days. Official notices indicate that Bologna, Treviso, and Venice airports have implemented partial fuel supply controls effective immediately through Thursday. Milan Linate Airport has also cautioned that supply restrictions may occur. The notices state that a subsidiary of BP PLC, which is responsible for fuel supply at the airports, is experiencing constrained fuel deliveries. Medical flights and flights with a duration exceeding three hours will be prioritized for fuel supply.
