The latest 24-hour data collected shows that the average terminal retail prices for major Chinese baijiu products experienced a broad-based rebound on June 21st. If one bottle of each key product were packaged and sold together today, the total basket price would be 9,899 yuan, a significant increase of 24 yuan from yesterday. This ends a five-day consecutive decline and marks the highest level in three days, indicating some warming in market sentiment, although significant divergence in the performance of core products persists.
Among the 11 major baijiu products tracked today, seven rose while four fell, giving a clear advantage to the winners. On the upside, Premium Moutai and Crystal Jiannanchun led the gains, both increasing by 6 yuan per bottle. The former rebounded from its lowest level in nearly a month, matching its largest single-day gain over that period. The latter recorded its biggest daily increase in nearly a month, quickly recovering from yesterday's near-one-month low to its second-highest level in the same period. Guojiao 1573 and Qinghualang both rose by 5 yuan per bottle. Gujing Gongjiu Gu 20 increased by 4 yuan per bottle, rebounding from its second-lowest level in nearly a month and ending a five-day losing streak. Yanghe Dream Blue M6+ and Qinghua Fen 20 both gained 3 yuan per bottle. The former has now risen for three consecutive days, with its price climbing rapidly from a monthly low to its highest point in nearly a month, while the latter also achieved a three-day rally from a low base.
On the downside, Wuliangye Pu Wu 8th Generation and Wuliangye 1618 both declined by 3 yuan per bottle. The former has now fallen for four consecutive sessions, with its price dropping rapidly and falling below the 800 yuan threshold again, matching its lowest price in nearly a month. The latter declined for a second straight day, hitting its lowest price in nearly a month. Feitian Moutai and Xijiu Junpin both saw minor decreases of 1 yuan per bottle.
The daily data is sourced from approximately 200 collection points reasonably distributed across major regions nationwide. These points include, but are not limited to, official distributors designated by distilleries, independent distributors, e-commerce platforms, and retail outlets. The raw sampling data consists of actual, transacted terminal retail prices handled by these points over the past 24 hours, aiming to provide objective, scientific, and fully traceable data on the market prices of well-known baijiu brands. Following the launch of sales for Feitian Moutai at 1,499 yuan per bottle on the official i-Moutai platform at the start of the year (adjusted to 1,539 yuan per bottle on March 31st) and for Premium Moutai at 2,299 yuan per bottle starting January 9th (adjusted to 2,359 yuan per bottle on May 16th), the gravitational influence of this new sales channel on the average terminal retail prices of these two products has gradually become apparent. The daily published prices follow a calculation rule weighted by verifiable transaction volume, and confirmed prices from this channel have been incorporated into the terminal retail price calculations for these two products.
