Beijing Capital International Airport Company Limited (abbrev. BEIJING AIRPORT) announced that, with effect from 24 June 2026, Mr. Wu Zhihui and Mr. Sun Lizhi have been appointed Deputy General Managers of the company.
Mr. Wu Zhihui, aged 58, is a senior engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Highway and Urban Road Engineering from Tongji University. Since August 2019, he has served as Deputy Chief Commander and Party Committee member of the Beijing New Airport Construction Headquarters. From July 2022 to June 2026, he was Deputy Chief Commander of the Beijing Construction Project Management Headquarters under Capital Airports Holdings Co., Ltd. His earlier experience includes senior managerial roles at China Airport Construction Group Corporation and related entities.
Mr. Sun Lizhi, aged 52, is a senior engineer with a Bachelor’s degree in Industrial and Civil Construction from Beijing Jiaotong University and a Master’s degree in Transportation Engineering from the Civil Aviation University of China. Mr. Sun joined BEIJING AIRPORT in 1997 and has held successive roles in project management, quality and safety oversight, and airfield operations. Since February 2023, he has served as General Manager of the Safety and Quality Division at the parent company, Capital Airports Holdings Co., Ltd., and since July 2025 has led the Airfield Management Department of BEIJING AIRPORT. He also holds board positions at Jiangxi Airport Group, Beijing Aviation Ground Services, and Hebei Airport Management Group.
The appointments were approved by the company’s Board of Directors, and the official announcement was signed by Board Secretary Li Bo on 24 June 2026 in Beijing.
